My strategy for 2010 was to leave the rucks alone. Pick 3 that always play so i had backup and a ruck rookie for #4 to save as much cash as possible for my premiums. Selected Kruezer and Hille as playing rucks and Warnock as coverage on the bench assuming he'd be playing week in, week out. Peeved at Rats about Warnock and generally happy with Kruezer and Hille but geez i'd love big Sandy in there. VERY tempted to facilitate a trade in a week or two. Will be able to afford Sandi for Kreuzer or Hille next week if/when i cash in Martin or Trengove in the mids. Just means i'll be using two trades to bring in a replacement ruckman when plan A was to not touch the ruck stocks.

Thoughts ... Huh Carsot, i'm sure you'll have something to say.  Wink

Really depends how your teams balanced, although come R22 you'll definitely want Sandilands in there.

Probably other areas that would need more work at present, especially given that Sandilands $$ is through the roof, so it'd cost an arm and a leg to get him in.

Yeah I agree with Ben , probably not absolutely essential at this point, Kreuz and Hille are pretty solid. But I would seriously look at bringing in Sandi for whomever turns out to be the weakest of that pair.

I would think that Kreuzer is the better of the pair to hold on to - Hille may be rested a little to allow his body to recuperate later on.

Yeah I think as long as both your rucks are getting out onto the park and scoring 60-70+ you can hold off for a bit.

Thanks for keeping me sane lads ..

Will hold firm in that belief that whilst i may not be getting the points in the rucks that someone with Sandi and Cox or Nic Nat will be getting i've saved that money and used it elsewhere.

Hopefully he has one absolute shocker somewhere along the line (a 25 or something would be great) that can allow me to jump on a fraction cheaper later in the season maybe.

Hille played a great game on the weekend, huge part of the Dons win, a little more consistency and he should be able to avg 80+ which would be fairly nice given his starting price.
