Next time, take the time to write out your team in their positions (Bac then Mid then Ruc then Fwd) instead of taking up 89 lines (yep, I counted them) Anyway... Much the same as many-a-team, apart from Gilbee, Boyd, Tippett in rucks, LeCras and Hall. That's fine, but not going to do you anything special to start. I wouldn't have Scully, instead save ~$80,000 and get another cheap option - then upgrade LeCras |

Mids. No Scully, Maybe Morabito will play alot of games.
Rucks. good
Forwards. Not sure about hall and Lecras. Hall has played well to date but how long can he go with it for?

I have now made changes to this team.
Backs Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Gilbee, Malcevski, Hunt, Greenwood (Maguire & Davis)
Midfielders Ablett,Selwood,Boyd,Martin, Barlow,Banner (Shuey & Miles)
Rucks Sandilands & Seaby (Skipper & Roughead)
Forwards Riewoldt, O'keefe,Pavlich,Didak,Hall,Ziebell,Rockliff (D.Stewart & Podsiadly)
I Have $124,400 left in the salary cap
what improvements does this team need and how would you rate it.

just my thoughts:
Backs: 7/10 - Think Enright is a bit pricey esp given he is under injury cloud. Maybe a Kennelly or Johncock as other optoins plus you would save some $$
Mids: 7/10 - Scully out for Trengove or one of the other promising rookies that will get more games. Boyd not my ideal pick for a premium when you have players such as Mitchell, Delideo, Didak & Watson all around the same price. Even Cooney as a cheaper option.
Rucks: 8/10 - only query here is Skipper? Will he play? and Roughhead will he play? Obviously need to wait for teams rnd 1 and then see what $100K are going to get a game. With your 2 main selections I like them, durable and capable of scoring well.
Fwds: 9/10 - Very good line. Hall is a question everyone will have to go through. Very good in the NAB cup. Mentally if he is right then he's a lock. Lets hope the time bomb doesn't go off in the first few rounds and hurt us all.

Should i replace enright & who with or leave him in, prefer a player who scores well. and should i replace skipper with warnock this would strengthen my rucks on the bench.

Yeah, but he's easily the best option for a premium defender after Goddard I notice you keep holding back $120K. I think that's too much. I'd spend it on getting a super-gun in for Boyd. Someone like Dal Santo.

You could do that, but in the long run that extra money will easily make up for the difference between Tippett and Seaby if you spend it well. I think that's about the amount that you want to have left |

Like the change to Mitchell. The Rucks is a hard one until the teams are named because all your looking for there is someone that will play. Enright, is also tough. I think there is a little risk with most of the premium defenders. Josh Drummond has the potential to score big but once again injury and lack of pre-season exposure is a worry again. Can't help much more here? |

I would not include Goose into your starting line-up.
I assume that dropping someone would mean, trading one of your defensive starting 7 out which would not be advised, as cheap bench options are not plentiful - should he, however, earn his spot by virtue of high scoring then sure.
Your backs are very similar to mine and i think leave them alone!
