Title: DAZZLER DTF ( page2 )... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 12, 2010, 08:44:45 AM Brendan Goddard
Luke Hodge Lindsay Gilbee Tadhg Kennelly Nick Malceski Ryan Schoenmakers Beau Waters Matt Maguire Phil Davis Nick Dal Santo Dropped Hayes Jimmy Bartel Sam Mitchell Daniel Cross Dustin Martin Micheal Barlow Mitchell Banner Ryan Bastinac Darren Jolly Mark Seaby Dropped Hille Robert Warnock Jordan Roughead Nick Riewoldt Matthew Pavlich Johnathon Brown Brent Harvey Daniel Giansiracusa Patrick Dangerfield Hayden Ballantyne Tom Rockliff Trent Dennis-Lane My iffys are: Gilbee - Proven SCer, but unconvinced he is 100% (fit).. Shoenmakers - Only because everyone say so.. Davis - Done nothing, gotta find another Cheapy (maybe Webberly).. Ballantyne - A lock, if fitness is ok.. What do you think guys ?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: spintheblackcircle on March 12, 2010, 09:01:22 AM I have doubts on Schoenmakers simply because i cant see him scoring well. He will play every game though which is a bonus. Having both him and Waters in the same team is a big risk. Gilbee looked alright to me in the last game i saw him play. He is named for the NAB grand final so he should be right to go. I had in my original team, but traded him up to Enright in the end.
That midfield is very solid. The first 4 are very expensive so you could possibly downgrade one of those and bolster you defence. Rucks look good, but i personally dont like Seaby. I cant see his scoring improving at all from what he previously scored at WC. He didnt impress me in the NAB game i saw him play. Others will disagree. The forward line is strong. Brown, Harvey and Gia worry me a little. I would like to see hoe Brown and Fevola work together before i commit to either of them. I think Harvey will spend less time up the ground than in the past and he could be past his best. I think Ziebell offers better value. Gia's injury history makes him risky, but from all reports he is in good shape at the moment. We will find out more on him Saturday night. Overall the side looks pretty good, but i would see about bolstering the backline which appears to be a bit weak. Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: Pedro_0952 on March 12, 2010, 09:51:19 PM Your Forward line looks very good, rucks will do the job 150+ each week, mids are also very strong. There are a few things to consider however in your backs. Having kennelly and malceski is a bit of a risk. malceski had a great NAB cup but keep in mind R.Shaw has not been playing allowing malceski alot more ball. I feel Kennelly, malceski R.Shaw and even mattner are competing for the same ball in the swans side and last year Shaw easily got the best of it in that half back/mid role that mattner scored well from in his first year for the Swans. Shoenmakers and Waters are also very risky choices. Due to the seemingly poor supply of rookies this year you might have to look at upgrading one and downgrading in another position.
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: West Coast Fanatics on March 14, 2010, 03:13:06 PM Midfield, I think you should downgrade your guns and get Gary Ablett (-1). It is way to risky to not have him in your side. I think you should trade out Darren Jolly, I think being with Fraser will definitely affect his scoring in a bad way, although maybe not (-0.5). Waters starting is a big no (-1) but other than that it is a nice team.
7.5/10 Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: Watto on March 14, 2010, 08:38:36 PM Next time Dazzler take the time to write out your team in their positions; if you put some effort in then maybe others will also
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: pandora1980 on March 14, 2010, 10:02:15 PM Backs: too skinny , you need an Enright , Duffield or Newman
Mids: No Abblett - no chance buddy , dunno about Bastinac - huge gamble Rucks: you need 1 more Premium - get Clarke , or Sandlands into your team FWD's: Too good if you understand , too many good players , your letting yourself down in other pst's , Harvey .. NAH past best wouldnt have him if I were you , Rockliff is solid . Over all - not sure youve got the right balance - 5 out of 10 at best ( sorry dude) Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF getting there... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 15, 2010, 07:44:34 AM Next time Dazzler take the time to write out your team in their positions; if you put some effort in then maybe others will also What is it exactlly that you mean.. I will do it, but I dont know what you mean Watto.. I thought this was clear.. Do you mean write it across the page?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF Bottom of page Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 15, 2010, 10:26:10 AM Is this what you were after Watto??
I want to just do the right thing here.. Hope its all good.. BACK = Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Waters, Maguire + ( Hunt, Webberly ) MIDS = Dalsanto, Bartel, Mitchell, Cross, Martin, Barlow, + ( Shuey, Banner ) RUCK = Clarke, Seaby + ( Warnock, Roughead ) FORW = Riewoldt, Pavlich, Harvey, Giansiracusa, Hall, Dangerfield, Ballantyne + ( Rockliff, Rohan ) What do ya reckon guys ?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: Watto on March 15, 2010, 10:02:49 PM Is this what you were after Watto?? Yep, perfect ;)I want to just do the right thing here.. Hope its all good.. BACK = Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Waters, Maguire + ( Hunt, Webberly ) Not sure about starting Waters or Maguire. Hunt on the bench???MIDS = Dalsanto, Bartel, Mitchell, Cross, Martin, Barlow, + ( Shuey, Banner ) RUCK = Clarke, Seaby + ( Warnock, Roughead ) FORW = Riewoldt, Pavlich, Harvey, Giansiracusa, Hall, Dangerfield, Ballantyne + ( Rockliff, Rohan ) No Ablett, maybe downgrade one of your 4 premium mids to a midpricer and then upgrade another the the great man Rucks are solid enough Solid forwards Looking pretty good Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 17, 2010, 09:32:48 AM Anyone else have a look at it??
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: bigbastard on March 17, 2010, 09:13:43 PM Backs: not sure, feels like you need more premiums here
Mids: you need Ablett, I have him as captain so all points double up (given he does his job right :) ) Rucks: Consider Cox, he might be a risk, but i think it's worth taking it. fwd's: solid and expensive, might be able to downgrade a little bit here and put the money elsewhere Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 19, 2010, 06:31:01 AM I feels good when you can go a few days on end without a trade, must be close now...
DO YOU RECKON ?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 20, 2010, 11:40:14 AM BACK = Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Waters, Maguire + ( Hunt, Webberly ) MIDS = Dalsanto, Bartel, Mitchell, Cross, Martin, Barlow, + ( Shuey, Banner ) RUCK = Clarke, Seaby + ( Warnock, Roughead ) FORW = Riewoldt, Pavlich, Harvey, Giansiracusa, Hall, Dangerfield, Ballantyne + ( Rockliff, Rohan ) Still unsure as to Trust Leuenberger or stay with Seaby ???? Have I finally got most of it right ??? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: Ben on March 20, 2010, 05:04:02 PM Backs: I hope thats not Josh Hunt on the bench?, if it is swap him and Maguire, pretty much set. Tad risky having so many recovering players, but could pay off.
Mids: Solid, lacking an Ablett/Montagna type scorer though. Rucks: Solid, Seaby as a backup ruck is an option i'm toying with too :) Forwards: Strong. 7.5/10 Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 22, 2010, 12:12:02 PM It is Josh Benny,It is between him and Maguire on who gets a run this week..
I had the $$$$ to be able to do that.... I love my backline, but feel I need to have that coverage incase on of those "comeback guys" has a twinge... I am now seriously thinking of trusting Hille to my 2nd ruck.. Thoughts ?? on that and my team ?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: spintheblackcircle on March 22, 2010, 04:20:44 PM I now have Hille as my second ruck. Swapped out Naitanui for him. Natanui has scores of 178, 68, 86 and 71. The lowest 2 were when playing with Cox in the side. Hille has scores of 83 and 108 from his 2 games. I was worried that Hille and Ryder not go that well together, but they played the 2 games and had very similar scores in both. That was enough to convince me he was worth the risk. I also have Tippet in the Forwards and Lobbe as 4th ruck for insurance.
I think the team is pretty good overall, but i would possibly downgrade Mitchell to somebody like Masten or McVeigh and maybe upgrade Bartel to Selwood and Dal Santo to Ablett. I think you need Ablett in the side. Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: blizzrd on March 22, 2010, 06:23:32 PM I'm going with Hille as 2nd ruck. His preseason was strong and I don't think he's as popular or expensive as he probably deserves to be right now. Get on before his price goes up!
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF (bottom of page)... Post by: DAZZLER1 on March 24, 2010, 09:08:33 AM BACK = Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Waters, Maguire + ( Hunt, Webberly )
MIDS = Dalsanto, Bartel, Mitchell, Cross, Martin, Barlow, + ( Shuey, Banner ) RUCK = Clarke, Hille Out= Seaby + ( Warnock, Roughead ) FORW = Riewoldt, Pavlich, Harvey, Giansiracusa, Hall, Dangerfield, Ballantyne + ( Rockliff, Rohan ) I am still do decide out of Hunt,Waters and Maguire who will cover 6 & 7 in the Backs.. I am also waiting to see if Ballantyne plays, he will stay in my 30 anyway, just on the bench... With no SC access at work >:( and my home PC currently away being fixed >:(, I think that might be the team for 2010. I am however hoping to have my PC back tonight.. Have I got the right mix ?? Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF ( page2 )... Post by: Ben on March 24, 2010, 02:37:18 PM Backs: Good up until you're playing both Waters and Maguire, Maguire really really needs to be on the bench.
Mids: Too mid-priced around the board, Cross is far too much $$ as a M4, and you're missing out on Ablett? Rucks: Fine. Forwards: Fine. Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF ( page2 )... Post by: Diesel on March 24, 2010, 03:20:10 PM You have 3 players in you backline (Malceski, Waters, Maguire) back from injury plus Kennelly coming back this year, a bit risky for me. You need Maguire on your bench and maybe trade one of the other players for another solid defender.
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF ( page2 )... Post by: West Coast Fanatics on March 30, 2010, 03:35:50 PM Why is Josh Hunt on the bench? I thought it was Taylor, but Josh Hunt is much better than Maguire.
Title: Re: DAZZLER DTF ( page2 )... Post by: johnnytheboy1 on March 30, 2010, 03:48:52 PM Do you think Hunt will perform Better than Maguire this week . What you need to decide is who will get the more oppurtunities Maguire v Carlton or Hunt v Hawthorn. I think Waters should be on your bench and you should play both hunt and Maguire this week..
