Last year when he had the injury, I traded him out, and then got him back (traded out Rich) a few weeks afterwards when he was playing again.
How long will he have to be out for, for you guys to trade him out?

Surely the only people saying they will trade him in later are the first year players. Anyone with at least 1 SC season knows how important Gazza is. I got pummelled last year by guys with him as their captain. And dont forget people were saying he would go down start of last year too, well guess what? he went UP. Who knows, mabye he could start averaging 150? Dont take the risk guys, make sure you get Ablett before you even consider your Goddards and Riewoldts.

The only thing I'm worried about with Ablett is whether Geelong decide to rest him more this year, both in terms of the odd week off here and there as well as more time on the bench. Even so, it probably wouldn't stop him from getting consistently high scores, though.

Actually it would be the players who have only played one or two years who would know how important gaz is because he has been to star player for as long as they can remember and as long as they have played for.
The cats are coming to the end of an era and just like essondon and bisbane after their years of domination, I don't think the cats will be as good this year.
I still think Ablett will be a freak player and fantasy scorer and I certainly have him locked in my team. But I don't think he will be as good as everyone is pumping him up to be.

Well if he can go at 80%-90% of last year I'll be very happy

Agreed that's why I have him in my team locked as captain.
All i'm saying is that this year he is more risky than last year.

I have Gazza & Joel Selwood in My team. I just think he will Outperform Montagna the only one that will get close is Dane Swan.

Four rounds in and he's the top scorer again

GAblett's worth every cent of his hefty SC price tag

He is outperforming both Bartel & Selwood. As for Selwood he wasn't moving very well is he carrying some injury.
