Personally i think Aker has probably been sacked for something not mentioned - i.e leaking something.
But isn't it a shame that there aren't more characters or honest players in the game. I am sick of seeing a captain / player of a top 4 team being interviewed and asked about their upcoming match against an underperforming bottom 4 side with the old " were expecting them to come out hard, their form has been good and we are expecting a tight contest" when really the comment should be - were a top four side, have been winning week in week out, they have some huge problems, a lot of injured players and we should beat them by 10 goals.
Whatever happened to honesty and players being upfront?
Protect the brand. Don't make us a target. Hold your tounge.
Football clubs aren't a brand, for real supporters they are part of our life. We may change jobs, wives or brands of cars but never ever would a real supporter ever change their team.
Anyway - thats my opinion.
