Stats wise I actually can't see how that works...but one bad score in Dreamteam ruins your average much worse than SC

However, goal-scoring in DT is much more valuable than pretty much everything else

One goal means 1 kick + mark/free kick/loose ball get/hard ball get/handball receive, + the actual points for the goal

I think DT favours this far too much

Yeah Watto, I've always thought DT just favoured the guys who got the cheap kicks, including cheap goals where as SuperCoach rewards the important and just flat out better players. An example of this is Shannon Hurn, one of West Coasts most important young players. He has a rubbish average of 72 in DT , but a nice average of 93 in SC.

Drummond also is an like that - DT doesn't reflect his influence nearly as well as SC
