Weighing up a few cash cows:

Thinking of trading out Silvagni for a cash cow to leave maximum $$ for premium trades over the next few rounds since their are so many falling premiums.

A couple of options:
Roberton (Freo) - Other than his two scores of 74 and 63 a BE of -80 i know nothing about him. Looking forward to seeing Freo on free-to-air TV this round so i can acquaint myself with all theses new Dockers players. Any thoughts on his ability to maintain this level of scoring or if he is a flash in a pan type?

JAENSCH (Ade) - Similar in my lack of knowledge on him other than scores of 52 and 40 and a BE of -41. Thoughts??

Sheppard (WC) - only played one game so i'd possibly wait another week before making this trade and hope Silvagni gets his BE of 66 but Sheppard is a #7 draftee so must be able to play. The only downer is that he is already $50K more than the other two as a high draft pick.

There's a big chance Roberton will get omitted this week. Harvey is considering resting rookies and bringing back in Grover, Silvagni and Jay van Berlo in defence and also Suban and Schammer in midfield. Especially considering they have 6 day break. So I'm not sure if Roberton will get enough games to be a decent emergency or cash cow this season.

He's the basement $94,200
14 touches in his first game isn't too bad
Possibly him in for Nason next week...?

The Nason to Roberton would add another $160,000 to your salary cap and as he would be your 9th defender. It is moore likely though that Kepler Bradley will replace Mcpharlin this week.
I would have traded Nason out but i have only 10 draft picks left wasted about 3 of those 10 picking up players like Brennan,Rockliff & Jordan Roughead

Very bad job security.
But he's on the bubble, and aside from Strijk who hasn't played a game yet, Roberton's the main option

Or Taylor Hunt I guess, but surely he won't get many games once Scarlett and co. return...
