I just want to get a sense of why people joined this site?

For me it was simply that last year i happened to stumble across the site - had some really positive discourse with people which i guess struck a chord.

I went and tried other sites, which i go back to see what's going on, but find this site by far the most interactive and open!

The best bit about here is good quality feedback by members, i reckon i could come on here with a very sick team and be fixed within a day - all that with very little acrimony.

Marcus, Millsy, Abs and Fanatic do a real good job - but from what i've seen everyone on here is genuine and believes in constructive feedback

Good job!

My mate got me into supercoach a few years back, been addicted to it ever since. Whenever I get the chance i'm reading fantasy footy related forums, which is how I found YSCC (was posted on fanfooty I believe).

It's good to discuss topics about the game we all love Tongue

I think just because alot of the other footy forums were either a bit clogged with general banter rather then advice or just lacking in much good SC related advice at all, which I think the FanFooty forums are some times. It's good to have somewhere that is strictly serious SC talk, especially now that I am addicted.

i saw it on big footy. and really liked the pod casts and different opinions of Marcus, Faz and Mark. it also set out better than all the other SC related sites i have found and have alot of expert super coaches that are willing to share their knowledge and you are right Loz at the start of the year i had a terrible side but thanks to ben i turned it around and scored my highest score ever 2357

I think the contributions to the forum are more respectful amongst contributors and that the blog articles are more respectful to their readers than other SC/DT sites. The site is also less about one person preaching their own opinions from a position of self-declared expertise and more about open-ended discussion than other sites.
